(so please put a penny in the taxi drivers hat)
Who is taking you home?
It’s that time of the year again…. Time to plan the Christmas bash, time to meet up with friends or time to do nothing.
Christmas is a time that a lot of people love and Hungerford is the place to visit.
We are proud of our Christmas lights which give a huge WOW factor. I am often asked when picking passengers up at the station if I mind stopping in the High Street so they can photograph them.
Normally within Hungerford we have well in excess of 300 Christmas trees all decked in white light, and it looks magical.
We are open from 9am to 9pm on the 25th (although our 1st run is always 8.30am to take local people to and from church). We already have booking in from some well organised people who are going out for Christmas lunch or visiting family and friends and want to keep their driving licences. If you require a taxi outside of the published hours call us and we will see how we can help.
New Year’s Eve, we close at 6pm and reopen as usual on the 2nd January 2020, believe it or not it’s a really quiet night for us with everyone wanting to go out between 7pm and 8pm then everyone wanting to go home just gone midnight – nothing in between. Therefore it’s OUR night to kick back and spend time with our families that see precious little of us throughout the year.
Please also remember that Christmas isn’t the happiest time of year for us all. If you feel you’d like to talk in confidence to someone please click here or email Hungerford Time to Talk in confidence
